Answer from Finanzamt

    first of all sorry to write in English,but my German is still too basic to write something about taxes. I used the tool this year for the first time and today I have received this e-mail from the finanzamt


    Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,


    für Sie wird von Ihrem Finanzamt bzw. Ihrer Finanzbehörde (Bayern) über das Verfahren ELSTER in Kürze eine verschlüsselte Datei mit allen wesentlichen Daten zum Einkommensteuerbescheid 2017 zur Abholung bereitgestellt.


    Sie können diese Datei über die entsprechende Funktion Ihres Steuerprogrammes ab dem 27.08.2018
    auf Ihren PC herunterladen!
    Sollten Sie die Daten nicht abholen, so werden diese nach 6 Monaten automatisch gelöscht.


    I undestand that there is a communiction that should be downloaded,am I wrong? How can I do it?

    The message means that you can download your tax assessment data.
    Therefore you have to click "Nachbearbeitung - Steuerbescheid prüfen" and follow the appropriate instructions.
    Then you can compare the data of Tax in relation to your tax assement notice.
